Alex and Gus (2022)
Acrylic and Oil paint on Plywood.
Existing in other people’s intimacy will always teeter between voyeurism and adoration. Maybe neither are all that different beyond the consent of the subject(s) and the intention of the viewer. These are people I know. Maybe even people you will pass on the street. These people no longer share each other and yet, for one fleeting moment, you are able to see all the joy and comfort of their small intimacies between one another.
